St John’s Chatham Turns 200
This September we celebrate the 200 Year Anniversary of St John’s Chatham. We are delighted that the building has been reopened and that the worshipping life of the church is being reestablished in time for the landmark celebration.
The St John’s Chatham building was first consecrated as a place of Christian worship on 18th September 1821 and to mark 200 years on from this date we are planning a series of events to celebrate the past two centuries and to look ahead to the future with hope and expectation.
